Double
test for Coloni Motorsport: Formula 3000 and Formula 3 in Magione
(I)
After only a day following F.3 Pergusa race, Coloni Motorsport carried
out on Tuesday a demanding double test of Formula 3000 and Formula
3 in Magione (I), in sight of the dates of Nürburgring (F.3000)
and Mugello (F.3).
The
drivers of F.I.A. F.3000 International team focused on the setup
for June 28th race on the German track, paying a particular attention
to cars performance with worn out tyres and lapping with full
fuel tank. Excellent the times scored by JordanF1 tester Zsolt Baumgartner,
who, after the fifth place taken in Monaco, aims to another great
result also in the Green Hell, the Nürburgring,
a fascinating circuit, whose name evokes Motorsport history.
On
track also the two drivers of Formula 3 team, Marco Bonanomi and
Christian Montanari. The young sprouts of Coloni Motorsport as
their colleagues- worked on race setup for the next date of the
Italian Championship at Mugello on July, doing sets of long runs.
Marco and Christian obtained very good times and they busied themselves
with the continuation of the long and articulate developing programme
of the new Lola-Dome F106 Mugen-Honda, which even in Mugello will
show new technical solutions.
For
Coloni Motorsport the preparation work is not still over: the squad
in fact will be on Magione track again on Monday June 23 for the
last F.3000-car shake-down before Nürburgring, while on July
1st Montanari and Bonanomi will carry out the ultimate test for
the next race of the Italian F.3 Championship.
